NASA's current HD channels, that your provider may or may not bring, will go. Instead, both the NASA TV Public and Media Channels Channel will make the switch to HD on February 17, while Channel will remain in elementary education. What is not so clear is what the premium TV provider you will do after the NASA flipping a switch. We imagine they will pass the HD signal, but if they are short on bandwidth, there is a chance they could change it down to SD in order to continue to provide a channel on their strained infrastructure.
