"NR003" ROBOT That Can Replace The Blind Guide Dog


Apparently the presence of robots not only threaten human work but dogs can lose their jobs.
NSK, the Japanese company that makes robots are developing a robot dog that can later be used by blind people as a replacement guide dog.

Actual robot guide dog is starting to be made since 2005 and is still being developed and is now the 3rd generation of robots called the NR003.
In the 3rd generation, the NR003 uses Microsoft Kinect to detect what is in front and his legs are getting faster to move like people who go up and down stairs.
NR003 also be able to receive voice commands from the start, stop, forward and others.
